Trade 08

Commercial handyman in Miami

Doors that stick, locks that fail, fixtures that need mounting, and the dozen other small items that never quite justify their own contractor.

Performed in-house

Our own technician performs this work. No Florida contractor licence is required for it, and TrionX carries general liability and workers' compensation.

Every commercial property runs a standing list of small jobs. A door that drags, a lock that needs replacing, shelving to mount, signage to hang. None of them justify calling out a specialist trade, so they sit there and the list keeps growing until it turns into a project.

Our handyman service across Miami-Dade exists for exactly that list. One scheduled visit, a competent technician, and the whole thing cleared. It is unglamorous work, and property managers tell us it is among the most useful things we do.

Why TrionX

How we approach handyman work.

One visit clears the whole list

The cost of a small job is almost entirely in getting someone there. Sending a technician once for fourteen items costs a fraction of fourteen separate call-outs, and it clears the backlog properly instead of nibbling at the edges of it.

Doors generate the most complaints

Door and hardware faults produce more tenant complaints than almost anything else in a commercial building. They get used hundreds of times a day and they fail slowly. Catch one early and it is usually an adjustment, not a replacement, and the frame never takes the strain.

We flag what is not a handyman job

If an item on your list turns out to be electrical, plumbing or structural, you will hear that from us instead of getting a cosmetic fix laid over a real fault. We can then book the right trade from the same network.

Common questions

Handyman in Miami: questions we get asked

Is there a minimum job size?

We are set up for lists more than for single ten-minute items, because otherwise the travel costs more than the work. If you have one urgent item, still call us. We can often attach it to a visit already booked nearby instead of charging you a full mobilisation.

Can we set up regular scheduled visits?

Yes, and on multi-site or larger properties that is usually the cheapest way to run it. A recurring monthly or quarterly visit clears the accumulated list on a predictable schedule and stops small faults growing into real repairs.

Do handyman technicians carry common parts?

Common door hardware, fixings and consumables, yes. If you need something specific such as a particular lock model, a matching ceiling tile or branded fittings, tell us beforehand and we will source it ahead of the visit instead of breaking off mid-job to fetch it.

What if an item turns out to be a bigger problem?

We stop and tell you before going any further. A sticking door that turns out to be a settling frame, or a loose fitting hiding water-damaged substrate, is a different job altogether, and you should hear about it before we spend your money working around it.
