Commercial glass in Miami

Storefront glass, entrance doors, closers and hardware, plus same-day board-ups when a property needs securing before it can be repaired.

Performed in-house

Our own technician performs this work. No Florida contractor licence is required for it, and TrionX carries general liability and workers' compensation.

A broken shopfront is a security and liability problem long before anyone thinks about the repair. Getting the building safe and closed up comes first. Once the opening is secure, replacing the glass properly becomes a scheduling conversation instead of a panic.

We handle commercial glass across Miami-Dade: storefront systems, entrance doors, interior partitions and the hardware that goes with them. Splitting the emergency response from the permanent fix is deliberate, so you are never waiting on a glass order to make a building secure.

Why TrionX

How we approach glass work.

Secure first, replace second

A board-up and a glass replacement are two jobs running on two different clocks, and we treat them that way. The property gets secured the same day. The glass then gets measured, ordered and fitted properly instead of being rushed to save a visit.

The right glass specification

Tempered, laminated and insulated units do different jobs, and South Florida has firm views about what belongs in a shopfront opening. We spec to the opening and to code, not to whatever happens to be quickest to get hold of.

Documentation for the insurance claim

Break-ins and impact damage nearly always turn into claims. Photographs of the damage, the measurements, the glass specification and the finished installation give you a clean file to hand over.

Common questions

Glass in Miami: questions we get asked

Can you board up a broken storefront today?

Yes. Emergency board-ups are same-day and available 24/7. This is the most time-critical work we do, because an open shopfront is an insurance and liability problem for every hour it stays open. The permanent glass replacement is then booked as a follow-up visit.

How long does storefront glass replacement take?

It depends on the specification. Standard tempered units are usually quick to source. Large, laminated or insulated units take longer. We measure and confirm the lead time up front so you are not left guessing, and the board-up keeps the property secure in the meantime.

Do you repair door closers and hardware, or only glass?

Both. Door closers, hinges, locks, panic hardware and ADA-compliant handles are all covered. Hardware failures actually generate more service calls than broken glass does, and a door that will not close properly is both a security and an accessibility problem.

Do you handle impact-rated glass for hurricane compliance?

We source and install to whatever specification your opening requires, including impact-rated units where the building calls for them. If you are not sure what your shopfront is currently rated to, we can assess that as part of the quote.
